Giovanni Oscar Urso is a professional photographer that expresses himself prevalently through photography which for me is a spontaneous means but not the only one.
In his works, there is his reflection on the animal man and his peculiarities: Art (it's the world, its dynamics, its characters), the self-destruction, the search for pleasure, the dissatisfaction, the regression...
Giovanni Oscar Urso was born in 1969 in Salento (in the south of Italy) where he grew up surrounded by the art of his father (painter, calcographer, and professor) and that of his colleagues. Spite this he exhibited his work to the public for the first time in 2009. In 2012 he got the award Premio Fiorenza Sorbelli, in Roma (Italy). He has participated in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad (Padua, Roma, Berlin…)
