Gimena Ferrari was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 6th, 1978.
From early age she showed a great ability for the drawing which led her to take classes of animated cartoons and comics, where she familiarized with the fantastic art. She joins the Escuela Nacional Prilidiano Pueyrredón to study Arts and obtains the title of National Professor of Painting.
Nowadays she works as a freelance illustrator and dedicates her free time to the plastic arts.
Her drawings and paintings show a great interest for mythological topics full of mystical beings and extraordinary animals which give sample of her great imagination.
Her aim has been always to create a theatrical and literary art which affects the imagination of the observer inciting him to invent his own story from the one represented, may be because of the fantastic landscapes, the undulating feminine bodies or the imaginary bestiario which characterize the work of this young artist.
