Georges Roques, born March 13, 1969, is a versatile artist whose artistic journey is marked by a constant exploration of techniques and mediums. He began his training at the École Nationale d'Arts-Décoratifs in Limoges from 1986 to 1989, where he specialized in engraving, lithography, as well as in various techniques such as pastel, pencil drawing, charcoal and Indian ink, as well as oil paint and watercolor.
In 1989, he obtained his National Diploma in Plastic Arts at the National School of Plastic Arts in Limoges, art section. Subsequently, Georges broadened his skills by obtaining a Certificate of Professional Aptitude as a photographer in 1992, consolidated by various professional experiences in a photographic laboratory from 1992 to 1994, covering shooting, development and prints.
Always eager for knowledge, he continued his studies with a DEUG in modern letters between 1994 and 1996, followed by a License in modern letters obtained in 1997. His passion for teaching and art pushed him to prepare for the CAPES of plastic arts from 1997 to 1998. In 1999, he obtained his Master's degree in modern literature with a thesis on the books where the poetry of Claude Roy and Henry Michaux "illustrates" the works of the painter Zao-Wou-Ki.
