L'aveyronnais (2017) Photography by Christophe Jeanjean

Christophe Jeanjean was born in 1972, in Aveyron (France) and he spent part of his childhood in the forests and near the rivers of his village. He started photography with a Russian camera gun, a zenith for wildlife photography. Then very quickly, he was very strongly attracted by urban themes, abandoned places, construction sites, basements. He seeks a poetry of places, colors, materials, atmospheres. His work is characterized by a graphic approach. The treatment is often that of the abstraction of the subject. He always takes the greatest care in his prints, which he has produced by image professionals on top-of-the-range paper.
