Trained in the plastic arts according to the Martenot method, GaïdG has always practiced the arts and in particular painting.

GaïdG's artistic practice is a continuous research on light in general, and Plants in particular: trees, branches and light are his favorite subjects. Each work aims to release or reveal an emotion.

His style is figurative and often surreal (notably his Plant Humanity series). She paints alternately or simultaneously with acrylic, oil, and ink. On the surface of the canvas, the color spreads out, prolonging its branches in the forms emphasizing the contrasts and the light. His practice leads him more and more to incorporate real tree branches directly into his canvases, these branches bringing relief and shadows, emphasizing the structure of the works and the movement of the drawing. The choices of colors are also essential for the artist who seeks to transcribe and communicate to the viewer a mood, an atmosphere.

Created with the aim of provoking emotions in the spectators, the works always leave them the necessary space to project their own story and their own feelings.
