Gaele Flao is a contemporary French artist. The artist puts her practice at the service of multiple projects without ever ceasing to explore new mediums. Her humanist temperament leads her to collaborative paths and hybrid creations where painting intersects with dance, video, music, theater, nature.
Gaele Flao's paintings initially appear in the style of figurative oil painting, precise and spacious, including their nostalgic outline symbolism. Her work of engravings, serigraphs and drawings definitively mark her appetite for sketching and the manifest construction of his subjects, in a perpetual search for the living.
She was the founder of the association "Les Ateliers du Bout de la Cale", which is anchored in the center of the harbor of Lorient and serves as a laboratory and incubator of maritime and artistic events. This setting enables her to establish numerous collaborations through live performance and the visual arts.
