"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

The actual man was using the umbrella to protect himself from the hard sun of summer.
I chose a nocturnal version of this scene in psychological terms. In other words, I meant to give voice to an inner and intimate world that is invisible to us from the outside.
Thus to expose what's behind the facade, and labels we all walk by without paying attention to the person they mean to represent.
IMMIGRANT. POOR. HOMELESS. AFRICAN MAN. BLACK MUSLIM MAN.
He is considered a danger to our well-behaved Western society, and yet he is the one without protection from the hardships our prejudices put him into.
That's it. That's all we see. That's all we are ready to know about this HUMAN BEING on our streets.

I am a professional figurative artist specializing in portraits only since 2021. I have no formal academic education, although my artistic education began at an early age at home with my grandmother who was a painter.
My art lies in the trauma, the silent suffering and the anger of those who have never been heard.
My works have been exhibited in Senigallia, Viterbo, Rome and in Sicily. Some of my portraits have been included in the Fine Art section of the March edition of Artego Magazine.
