Frédéric Duchesnay is a professional photographer who tries to convey what one can feel when faced with a landscape, an atmosphere, smells, everything that makes one feel small when faced with immensity.
His favorite subjects are natural things and spaces. He seeks to show the obvious, in fact the subject jumps out at him – tranquility, timelessness… The aesthetics of certain landscapes as well. It is important to know how to put everything in its place in the picture. He likes misty, deserted moments, which smell good of dew.
Frédéric Duchesnay was born in Saintes in Charente Maritime (France) in 1966. He arrived in Nord-Pas de Calais (France) about twenty years ago. His work is present in many private collections.
