Soeur et femme du Titan CRONOS et mère des Dieux et Déesses, HESTIA,DEMETER,HERA,HADES, POSEIDON et ZEUS.
RHA épousa son frère CRONOS, mais la Terre-Mère et son père OURANOS mourant,
avaient prédit que l'un de ses propres fils détrônerait CRONOS.
C'est pourquoi il dévorait les enfants que RHEA mettait au monde : ce fut d'abord HESTIA puis DEMETER et HERA puis HADES et POSEIDON.
Francis Godefroit is a contemporary French sculptor. Godefroit's sculptures, which have a hyper realism of a rediscovered Antique sensuality and could be described as a contemporary neoclassical style due to their Greco-Roman inspiration and use of modern or even trivial materials.
The origin of this style is symbolized by the fiercely contemporary association of graphic, flat representation, supporting a third dimension detaching itself from its gangue. Mythology, as a dreamlike support for the artist's inspiration, brings back to life the myths that fascinated us as children, in a completely new form, and thereby resurrects our childhood fantasies. The creation that becomes our recreation and revisits historical legends in order to reincarnate them in our soul is born from this artistic chimera.
