Fokje De Vries-Otter is a professional photographic artist who has decided to take a new path in her career. Although sports photography remains her passion, she discovered another passion: painting.

Experimenting with many different techniques, she creates abstract works of art, often in the form of landscapes, using mixed media techniques and acrylic paint. She uses various materials such as ropes, pebbles, shapes, sand and clay to bring her creations to life. She also creates images with liquids such as water, milk, oil and paint. By playing with these liquids and observing their reactions, surprising images emerge, which she then captures with her camera and macro lens.

Her creations are often close to landscapes, and she draws her inspiration from the water, the sea, the sky, the clouds and the sun. His work is usually colorful, because that's what suits him best. The bright colors she uses often reflect a certain joie de vivre.

Thus, Fokje De Vries-Otter now expresses her creativity through two passions that complement each other and allow her to share her artistic vision with the world.
