Imaginer le monde des fées est un enchantement, avec ses scènes nocturnes, la Lune brillante et ronde qui éclaire la forêt d'un éclat nacré. Le fantastique devient réalité. La beauté des rêves efface la noirceur du monde...
Imaginer le monde des fées permet aussi de donner libre cours à une exploration technique et plastique. Utiliser des encres dorées, des stylo argentés, des pigments nacrés ou iridescents, utiliser des mediums acrylique spéciaux pour créer des effets d'encaustique très particuliers, qui apportent matité et profondeur. Et oser tamponner des arabesques baroques en ornements, pour ajouter de la beauté à la beauté.
Ce qui m'intéressait dans cette pièce, n'était pas de décrire précisément les fées (quoique, il y en a une, bien cachée - saurez-vous la trouver ?) mais plutôt d'imaginer l'atmosphère onirique de leur monde, de créer la beauté que leur présence virtuelle étend sur le monde. Rendre l'iridescence blanche de la lumière lunaire, le scintillement de ces toiles d'araignées qu'on appelle les fils de la Vierge, les lueurs des lucioles et autres vers luisants, dans une symphonie de bleus turquoise lavés d'or et de roses nacrés.

I am a professional painter. I live and work in Touraine.

I studied cinema and engraving at the Institut d'Arts Visuels d'Orléans, where I obtained the Higher National Diploma in Plastic Education in 1989, by presenting two short films. What I liked about cinema was drawing the storyboards ...

I work on different subjects, according to my inspirations: the nude, the landscape, the flowers and the forests (imaginary flowers or flowers of the memory, dream forests or fairy forests, it doesn't matter: the main thing is to express their poetry. ), I also sometimes walk around childhood, myths, legends ... I love to explore pictorial techniques: oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, collage, mixed media ...

I paint mainly from the imagination. Except when I indulge in hyperrealistic drawing with colored pencils, for which I need a model.

In recent years, I have had the pleasure of having buyers from all over the world who are interested in my works. My first overseas sale was to Australia. My works have the chance to travel everywhere!
