I was born in Strasbourg, France, in the 60s and have been drawing since I was very young.

In 1982, thanks to a Rotary Club scholarship, I spent a year at West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia (U.S.A.). There I discovered painting, pastels, pottery... and also deepened my knowledge in history of art.

I went on to study at the Ecole du Louvre and became fascinated by Renaissance artists, as well as artists like Rodin, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, Brancusi, Picasso, Giacometti, Dali, Tapiès, Basquiat ... and Georges Moquay, whom I'm lucky to know and admire. Their works all have a certain strength, a power, a way of moving me and provoking very strong emotions in me.

I started out painting in watercolors, and soon moved on to acrylics, using binders and pigments. With acrylics, I was able to express my strength and emotions through abstract art.

An admirer of nature, I need to incorporate elements such as sand (brought back from my travels), pebbles, shells, wood, but also glass, paper and images that have touched me. I also like things that sparkle and shine, so I can also use pearlescent pigments and gold leaf.

My fingers obey my emotions. The sphere, the ball, the cosmos, space are often part of my work. They represent the immensity of the universe, with no limits, just like in art.

With my art, I hope to transport the viewer's perception, emotions and sensitivity, so that my paintings come alive through their eyes.
