I was born in Fontainebleau but mostly lived in the south of France, aboard boats until I was six years old. It's a period that stays with me as an environment of freedom. I studied literature. My first means of expression was poetry, which still accompanies me to this day. I worked in a workshop as a theater costume designer and there remains from this period the taste for couture that I sometimes use in my paintings. Alongside my life as a professional painter, I have been doing amateur theater for years.
