Born in 1971, Evelyne Siaudeau is a French painter and sculptor, living and working in France. His work is distinguished by a deep exploration of textures and colors through various mediums such as acrylic on canvas, ballpoint pen on paper, acrylic on cardboard, pencil on paper and sculpture.
Educated at the Beaux-Arts in Angers where she obtained her National Diploma in Plastic Arts, Evelyne developed a style characterized by abstract compositions and still lifes. His work is strongly influenced by artists such as Mark Rothko, Henri Matisse, Alexander Calder, Marinette Cueco and Giuseppe Penone, who nourished his artistic sensitivity and technique.
During her studies, Evelyne explored the superposition and stacking of materials such as corrugated cardboard, creating complex textures and striking depth effects. This approach then extended to minimalist sculptures using glass plates and black lines, exploring transparency and light.
In her paintings, Evelyne continues to explore the superposition of evanescent colors, transparency and depth. She is also attracted to the representation of plants and flowers, both through direct observation and through memories filtered through her imagination. His sensitivity to nature is reflected in his choice of natural materials collected for his creations, highlighting his commitment to preserving the environment.
