I was born in 1974 and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts, USA area. I started making art at the age of two and have never stopped--just added materials and techniques. Acrylic, oil and watercolor paints, pen and ink, and all kinds of graphite are just a few of the many materials that I have used and continue to use today. I've recently taken a digital approach, acquiring a strong knowledge of design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Quark . I am a 1997 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art where I received a BFA in Illustration. After many years of working in completely opposite "real world" jobs, I've finally decided to make a go at this art thing and I'm extremely excited at all the opportunities that I have recently discovered to make this possible.

My other interests include music (both listening and playing--I'm a self-taught guitarist), reading, baseball (favorite team--Boston Red Sox), occasionally writing poetry and short stories, hiking, and long road trips through the countryside that may or may not have a particular destination.

In January 2005, I picked up my bags and moved from Massachusetts to sunny Florida, where I live with my lovely wife Angela, our dog Lola, and our cat Ruthie. Although I still am working at a "real world" job in a non-art related field, I have not given up my dream of becoming a full-time artist and continue to persue this every day.

I am available to do commissioned work of just about any subject matter. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
