Hi, my name is Evgeny Popov. I am an artist. I was born in 1978. I became interested in watercolor painting when I was a teenager. I drew everything that surprised me with great enthusiasm. Later I received additional art education and graduated from the Shakhty Art College. This gave me the understanding and skills to work in various techniques and materials, but the craving for watercolor only intensified. In my work, I like to experiment. For me, drawing is always a challenge and a desire to reflect the depth of space, to convey the play of light, without losing the brightness of colors. I think I manage to make the work light and bright by working with the details to the best of my ability. I strive for a balance between the magic of impressionism and realism.
