How to create custom shipping profiles on Artmajeur?

Custom shipping profiles are optional: Artmajeur offers an automated shipping quote calculation and delivery service

• Shipping fees are calculated automatically by Artmajeur, depending on the dimensions you provide and customer country.
• Customers browsing your gallery view the full prices including shipping to their country.
• When you sell, you pack the artwork, and the carrier picks up to parcel at your studio (shipping cost is paid by the customer)

Our shipping estimates are based on PREMIUM/EXPRESS shipping. If you want to calculate your own shipping fees and select your own carrier, you can create custom shipping profiles.

How to create/modify a custom delivery profile?

1. Go to MY ACCOUNT > SALES > DELIVERY
2. Click on "Add" or edit an existing delivery profile
3. Choose the name of the profile (nb: the name of the profile does not appear to the public)
4. Add or modify shipping zones: These are the countries in which you deliver at a given price

What is the Default Profile?
This is the profile that applies unless you specify another profile. You can specify the shipping profile you want for each of your works, otherwise, the general profile is automatically applied.

How to calculate the prices of shipments for custom profiles?
Quotes must be made by carriers, and include packaging, handling, etc...

Can I preview the artworks that are used in a given shipping profile?
Yes, on the shipping profiles page, click on "Artworks". You can review all artworks using this profile.

I have too many shipping profiles, how can I group them?
To group profiles which are named for example profile A and profile B:

1. Go to the section: MY ACCOUNT > SALES > DELIVERY
2. Click on the artworks linked to profile A
3. Edit all works of profile A, and choose profile B then save

Once there are no more works using profile A, you can delete it: all works now use profile B!

Can I set up a custom shipping profile for 1 country and let Artmajeur handle other countries?
Yes, simply define the shipping price for any countries/zones, and other countries will automatically be calculated by Artmajeur and billed to customerd.

Examples 1: I sell small drawings in A5 format

• I create a profile named "A5 Drawings"
• I add a single "Rest of the world" delivery area for $8

Examples 2: I sell drawings in A4 format

• I create a profile named "A4 Drawings"
• I add a delivery zone "USA" for $12
• I add a delivery zone "Rest of the world" for $18

Examples 3: I sell Medium format paintings, sent in tubes

• I create a profile named "Medium format paintings - tubes"
• I add a delivery zone "USA" for $15
• I add a "CANADA+MEXICO" delivery area for $22
• I add a delivery zone "Rest of the world" for $28

Examples 4: I sell large-format paintings, sent mounted on chassis

• I create a profile named "Large paintings mounted"
• I add a delivery zone "USA" for $25
• I add an "AMERICA" delivery zone for $30
• I add a delivery zone "EUROPE" for $35
• I add a "Rest of the world" delivery area for $40

Example 5: I sell Fragile sculptures of small format, I only want to ship them to USA and CANADA

• I create a profile named "Small sculptures NA only"
• I add a delivery zone "USA" for $20
• I add a delivery zone "CANADA" for $25
