On August 31st, London rapper Little Simz will curate a one-night-only event at Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, featuring art, music, workshops, and discussions as part of the Tate Modern Lates series, offering a vibrant and free experience for all attendees.

On August 31st, the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall will be transformed into a vibrant hub of art, music, and culture, curated by acclaimed London rapper Little Simz, as part of the Tate Modern Lates series. Known for her powerful lyrics and innovative musical style, Little Simz—real name Simbiatu "Simbi" Abisola Abiola Ajikawo—will offer a one-night-only event featuring a blend of artistic expressions. The evening will include a conversation between Simz and broadcaster Clara Amfo about her artistic journey and the influence of visual art on her work. The event will also feature a dance workshop led by choreographer Kloé Dean, DJ sets from Tash LC, Keyrah, NARX, Donch, and Laolu, and Art Chats with artist Es Devlin, novelist Caleb Azumah Nelson, and skateboarder-artist Slawn. Additionally, attendees can participate in a Zine workshop with illustrator Fiona Quadri and a cartoon coloring session with Jadore Nicholas of JK Cartoon Studios.
