I'm originally from Westchester, NY where I learned oil painting and focused heavily on technical skills until a few years ago when I truly began experimenting with materials, dimensions, perspectives, and other ways to make myself push my own creativity outside of a place of comfortability. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to things that represent femininity and my own relationship with it. In addition to this, my art has also been a sort of diary through the process of growing up with mental illness. I have often turned to art as a form of personal expression which can be seen in the threads woven within my work.
I now live in Winston-Salem, NC where I continue to create art. While I do paint a lot, I have recently turned my attention to pen and ink art. I am exploring my capabilities with a pen and a tattoo machine which to me, go hand in hand. My art is the physical embodiment of my thoughts and questions
