Biography
Emir Sergo is a contemporary Dutch photographer known both for his portraiture and fashion imagery, but it is Emir’s female nude imagery that has elicited controversy and fascination. In his fine-art nude photography Emir searches for depth and simple aesthetic beauty. He is fascinated with natural light reflecting of the curves of the female body.
Born on April 22, 1973 in Chicago, Emir studied Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam, before pursuing a career as a commercial photographer upon his graduation.
