BIOGRAPHY

Emilie is a Quebec artist born in 1987 in Quebec in the National Capital. For as long as she can remember, she has loved arts and colors. Her mother, who is also an artist, gave her her first paintbrushes when she was little. Emilie undertook her artistic activities more seriously in 2020, with the arrival of the pandemic where she found herself alone with her dreams due to confinement which was a springboard to develop her artistic talent. The latter has always had a sense of aesthetics because before becoming a painter, the painter worked in the world of beauty where she practiced the profession of makeup artist for 17 years. p>

"I already had a marked attraction for playing with color combinations and for working with brushes, you will surely tell me."

Gosselin also has training as a graphic designer that she acquired after high school, but she will never actually work there. It was then that she went to Cegep without finding anything that interested her and that she did her course in cosmetology. After a long break from studies, the artist decided in 2023 to strengthen his knowledge and acquire additional professional knowledge by enrolling at Laval University in visual art. She completes her studies part-time while working on her art full-time.
