Eléonore Giraud was born in 1988 in Nogent-sur-Marne (94) and showed a keen interest in drawing from an early age. Then self-taught, drawing and painting became her most natural means of expression. Today, she exhibits and works in Ile-de-France in the Grand-Est but also in several regions of France as well as in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Graduated from the Marne-la-Vallée School of Architecture in 2014, she practiced her profession as an architect in her own way: rural projects on a human scale and with respect for the environment.

The artist now devotes herself essentially to her initial passion: the arts. From detailed drawing tattooed on the skin to charcoal fresco or painting, from introspection to performance and animation, she alternates between mediums and atmospheres to the search for a practice of benevolent and sincere art.
Eléonore Giraud then combines a technical approach with an intuitive and sensory artistic practice to set volumes, structures, shadows and lights in motion. Expressive glances are revealed by the strength of monochrome and contrasts.

The artist stages anonymous or known identities, invented or diverted, in nocturnal landscapes immersed in stars and darkness. nature: the unconscious and introspection. The duality, the oppositions, the human and the animal, the day and the night construct the Theater of these characters thanks to which the artist offers us an encounter and a mise en abyme towards the poetry of the non-verbal and of the dream.
