Lena Krapiva was born and raised in Transnistria, a small unrecognized republic between Ukraine and Moldova.
The armed conflict experienced by her family in the early 90s left its mark on the work of the artist.
Drawing since childhood, Lena has always preferred the study of female characters, their strengths and weaknesses, portraying them through bright and invariably gentle shades that emphasize emotionality and vitality.
Lena devoted most of her career to illustration in the field of fashion and working with fashion brands as a commercial artist.
Now the artist lives and works in Moscow.
