La particularité de ce tableau réside principalement dans le fait qu'il a été inspiré par une gravure d'Albrecht Durer, l'un des artistes les plus célèbres de la Renaissance. Cette influence peut être vue dans la précision des détails, des proportions et de la composition de la peinture. Cependant, bien qu'inspirée d'une œuvre classique, cette peinture a sa propre personnalité et interprétation.
