It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

I started this painting three years ago. The plot and composition came to me immediately. For three years I have been looking for material images to bring an idea to canvas. It has been a long journey, seemingly endless at times. Several versions of the main characters have been created. They have changed. And the previous version seemed to be better than the next one. It was very, very hard for me to leave this picture and leave. But I was able to do it.
To understand this work, I offer you a short parable I wrote for this picture:
- You ask, what is your strength, baby? the old Witch chuckled.
- Yes! In what?
- In skill - to leave.
In life, there are a huge number of situations from which you need to leave. Do you have such stories? Do you have enough fortitude to leave?
The work is painted on canvas (100% linen) stretched over a wooden stretcher. The sides of the painting are sealed (painted over). The picture does not need a frame.

Екатерина Захарова - художник, перформер, дизайнер, поэтесса. Родилась в 1980 году в городе Алейск, Россия. Живет и работает в Екатеринбурге. Окончила Уральский федеральный университет им. Б.Н. Ельцина в 2002 году. Долгое время практиковала психологию.
В 2007 году в течение 6 месяцев обучалась на курсе графики и академической живописи в Уральском государственном архитектурно-художественном университете.
С 2013 по 2016 г.г. находилась на индивидуальном обучении у членов Союза художников России по курсу масло, акварель, академический рисунок; регулярно участвовала в пленэрах по городам Урала и Абхазии. На базе Уральского экономического университета получила образование в области графического дизайна в 2017 году.
В период с 2017 по 2022 годы Екатерина работала графическим дизайнером.
В результате экспериментов в области живописи в 2022 году сформировала свой авторский стиль - темный сюрреализм. В настоящее время является full time artist и развивает выставочную деятельность.
