My life in a nutshell

° 24-12-1957

born in Ghent Gentbrugge son of GUS BOUQET (Architect Honorary Lieutenant Colonel) and Jacqueline Bevernaege (housewife).

After my studies in construction and architecture, I immediately jumped into the business world as a contractor project developer under the name “zeker wonen bouwen met BOUQUET” after my military service since 1979.

My business career partly came to an end in 2008.

I was forced to leave my company after a serious heart attack.

Doing business has continued to flow through my blood, and art has also taken a larger place in my agenda.

At retirement age, my hobby art became a true passion with my own creation.

A course in art history (klu) gave me a better view of the evolution of art through the centuries

fascinated by modern contemporary art, great masters are my inspiration such as Henri Matisse - George Bracke - Pablo Picasso and many other great masters

Figurative - cubism - geometry are close to my heart.

the sky is the limit in education and self-study to further develop myself as a painter and visual arts.
