Eric Berthet is a contemporary French artist and designer. In 1983, after achieving his diploma in applied arts and architectural volumes, he became a part of the Peugeot design studio in La Garenne-Colombes. Initially starting as a model maker and later transitioning into the role of a stylist, this was where he honed his skills as an automotive designer. Over a span of 16 years, he actively contributed to numerous projects, achieving notable success as the creator of the designs for the 206, 206CC, and 607 models.
In the year 2000, he joined the Mercedes-Benz design studio in Sindelfingen, Germany. However, in 2003, he returned to France and assumed the position of Assistant Chief Designer at Toyota's ED2 studio in Sophia Antipolis. By 2005, he had relocated to Brittany, establishing his own company and embarking on a career as an independent designer. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently nurtured his artistic side, engaging in drawing, painting, and sculpture, which have served as avenues for his personal and creative expression.
