Afgezien van zijn uitzonderlijke dikte, bestaat het vezelpapier uit een alfa-cellulosebasis zonder zuur en is het bedekt met bariumsulfaat en een microporeuze laagabsorptie versterkende pigmenten tijdens het afdrukken.
