Dragan Georgiev, Macedonian academic painter,is born on 26.01.1981 in Skopje. He graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje in the year 2007 ,at the department of painting in the class of prof.Zoran Jakimovski. In 2010 he made his first independent exposition "Retrospection"in the Youth Cultural Centre in Skopje.
For the exposed works,Macedonian critics and cultural workers said that the exhibition is a kind of sublimate of his past creative work.By an extraordinary ease of the motion, through varios graphical techniques, primarily cooper engraving as his basic drawing,he derives the shape that is closest to his sensibility in a figurative artistic way.Another recognizable feauture of his graphics is the sinuous line he uses to provide starting and endless finishing of the form in the background of the work.Striving to induce the most intensive mental vibration possible in the consumers of his art,he uses the contrast of warm and could colors stressing at the same time the form and providing the figurative coloured output.Through well-organized integration of the abundance of shapes into the composition of the entire graphics,he manages to achieve the first, but also the ultimate task which is an imperative to every artist.
In 2010 he participated on 17-th International Art Colony In Kichevo.
