Dong Su

Dong Su is a contemporary award-winning Chinese painter. In his paintings, he tries to explore the self-reflection of life and experience, the observation and understanding of the world to express visual images. His focus is usually on the element of symbolism to convey raw emotion and intuition.

The artist believes that abstract art is actually stripping away the appearance of things that people are familiar with, and to shape the feelings of depicting things at the level of the painter's personal consciousness, which can convey more of the painter's personal spiritual world. Therefore, there is usually no specific meaning expressed in his paintings. When he creates art, he only considers things related to vision, such as color, shape, texture, etc.

Dong Su was born in 1968, in Mongolia. He is a Member of the Chinese Academy of National Painting, Member of the Hong Kong SAR Academy of Painting, and Member of the New York Contemporary Art Center. The artist exhibited his works nationally and internationally, won numerous awards, and has been widely collected all over the world.
