My passion for photography began with my acquaintance with the Russian Reporter magazine in 2008. It published a large number of materials, illustrated with masterful reportage photographs. I like to observe what is happening, evaluate the situation, the light, the moment. Plus, it’s not always all up to you. Chance, God's arrangement, something else that cannot be explained - very often a good photograph is born thanks to these things. And not so long ago, thanks to a coincidence of circumstances, I touched the world of ballet. And here my favorite direction is to photograph not the performances themselves on stage, but what precedes the artists’ appearance: backstage, rehearsals. The play of light, the emotions of the dancers, other accidents - for me this is the most interesting...
