For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. É atualmente considerada uma das maiores pintoras surrealistas Portuguesas.
O Mestre Mário Silva intitula-a de Surrealista Romântica.
Iniciou a sua arte desenhando a carvão e pintando em Aguarelas, com as quais fez várias exposições individuais e coletivas desde 1988.
Assina como DINA DE SOUZA.
Nasceu em Moçambique em 1964.
Viveu em S. João da Pesqueira, Murça, Alijó, Pinhão, Gaia e Porto. Vive atualmente em Lisboa.
Fez o Curso da Escola Soares dos Reis e o ESBAP–Escola Superior de Artes Plásticas do Porto no Curso de Pintura e Escultura.
Foi aluna e frequentou vários ateliers de Pintores e Mestres conceituados da cidade do Porto, António Fernando, José Rodrigues, Esmeralda Calvário, Júlio Pinheiro, Aurélio Mesquita e Maria Antónia Silva Porto.
Especializou-se pintando sobretudo o Porto - Património Mundial, em aguarela sendo reconhecida como excelente Aguarelista.
Expõe pela 1ª vez em 1988 na Galeria MULTIFACE em Lisboa no concurso de jovens pintores onde recebeu Uma Menção Honrosa em Aguarela.
Expõe pela primeira vez surrealismo, no CCD da Câmara Municipal do Porto e no Salão Nobre da Junta de Freguesia de Aldoar, Porto.
Faz parte do Núcleo Inicial de Artistas Plásticos que expõe no GRUPO AXIS Hotéis/Golfe compreendendo unidades em Póvoa de Varzim, Ofir/Esposende, Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Porto e Braga.
Foi nomeada em Novembro de 2012 ACADÉMICA CORRESPONDENTE da FEBACLA – Federação Brasileira de Académicos de Ciências, Letras e Artes.
Participou em várias exposições individuais e coletivas, nomeadamente em 23 Exposições Individuais, 7 Exposições Duplas e 105 Exposições Coletivas.
