STATEMENT:
Ozmen’s works to explane imagine for woman and her sensations. She transport the viewer into an extreme expressionist environment of individuals.
Her develops the outlook on life. Ozmen has made a splash in the with her brave use of the brush and paint and the emotional richness of her paintings. There is may appear in different forms and rituals but is identical in its core. These evaluations led to the “Woman and Personality” paintings.
Ozmen took some time to internalize her ascending mastership of color and brush and her own status in Turkey’s art world. The result was the series of “Universal Lonliness”, “Dilemnas”, and “Woman and Personality”. These paintings celebrated women’s power to create and to endure.
Ozmen’s paintings technique are oil and mixed media on canvas.
In the past years, Ozmen has had solo exhibits in the Turkish cities of Istanbul, Ankara, Kocaeli, Bolu, Kastamonu, Zonguldak, Kırıkkale, Antalya and Bartın. She has also had her work shown in various exhibitions in Europe and the United States.
DILEK OZMEN BIO:
Born in 1970, Bartın, Turkey. Graduated from Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty, Department Of Painting in 1992, Ankara. She joined over thirty two group exhibitions, opened sixteen solo exhibitions and holds five awards. Her works can be found in various collections. She still continues her work of art in her atelier in Bartın. Ozmen is also a member of UNESCO AIAP Association Of International Plastic Arts (UPSD).
