Biography of Dengke Zhang
Born in 1968 in small village of Hunan province, China, I indulged myself in the beautiful nature settings. When I was a child, I remembered experiencing an intense craving for depicting dynamic natural landscape and creatures. I try to unite plants, landscapes and my viewers in a single painting harmonically. I try to sense the innate feelings of plants in different seasons and transmute those feelings to my viewers. Each of my canvases is a pleasant and meaningful song by the nature prepared for the viewer in advance. We are immediately inside this landscape, already have visited all its surroundings and are looking at them from a distance with feelings of nature that we have resonated inside ourselves. I want to give my viewers unique glimpses of natural subjects, directing their focus toward the finer nuances of the scene and transporting them to another time and place. Human being are also a part of nature!
I was graduated Hunan Normal University. I enjoy my life as an artist for more than 30 years now. My works have been showcased in galleries and art fairs around the world. I am currently a member of China Artists Association.
