David Benayoun, born in 1984, is a designer and painter who lives and works in France. Trained at the Intuit Lab School, where he completed an advanced degree in applied arts in 2002-2003, he continued his studies at the University of Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne. There, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Plastic Arts with honors in 2006, followed by a Master 1 in Plastic Arts with honors in 2008. David Benayoun then completed his training by preparing for and obtaining the CAPES in Plastic Arts in 2008, then by the Agrégation in Plastic Arts in 2014.

His work is mainly deployed through mediums such as oil on canvas, oil on paper, oil on linen, pastel on paper, pastel on cardboard, charcoal and pencil on paper. Benayoun explores a figurative and impressionist universe, where still lifes, sketches, and black and white landscapes are mixed. He is particularly influenced by masters such as Pierre Bonnard and Edward Hopper, whose impact is felt in his work on human figures, often represented in public or intimate places.

Through his works, David Benayoun captures the essence of the characters in their daily lives, while letting an emotional depth shine through that subtly evokes human nature. At the same time, he also ventures into the representation of landscapes and skies, demonstrating his ability to capture the silent beauty of nature.
