My name is Daria Shalik. I am an artist and I like what I do. Painting takes up most of my life. I have my own author's style, which I developed myself. It is a combination of botanical oil painting and abstraction. My first paintings were flowers in the style of hyperrealism, which gradually led me to my author's technique - a combination of botanical painting and abstraction. The main theme of my work is flowers and woman's portraits. In my paintings, I strive to create memorable images and work with a rich color scheme. I think special color combinations are my specialty. My works are made in mixed media, I use both acrylic and oil.
My works are in many private and corporate collections around the world. I am already successfully selling paintings online through online sources.
I graduated from a 4-year full course with the highest score of the municipal children's educational institution "Children's School of Arts" in Kaliningrad (Russia) in 2003.
In addition, I took several master classes in Russia and Italy. I am very active in exhibiting my art. The last exhibition I participated in was "The Character of a Woman" in Florence (Italy) in 2020.
