"Pourquoi est-il si grand et si élégant ? murmuraient-ils. "Qu'est-ce qui le rend si spécial ?
En entendant ces chuchotements, le grand coquelicot se sentait souvent isolé malgré sa beauté. Il aimait le champ dans lequel il poussait et chérissait la compagnie des autres fleurs, mais la distance créée par sa hauteur lui donnait parfois un sentiment de solitude. Pourtant, elle continuait à pousser, s'élevant toujours plus haut, car elle savait que cacher son don unique reviendrait à nier sa véritable nature.
Un jour, une brise légère transporta un papillon dans le champ. Le papillon voltigea au-dessus des coquelicots, se délectant de leurs couleurs éclatantes. Il remarqua le grand coquelicot qui se dressait fièrement au-dessus des autres et décida de se poser sur ses pétales. Le grand coquelicot, surpris mais heureux, accueillit le délicat visiteur.
"Pourquoi te poses-tu sur moi ? demanda le grand coquelicot.
Le papillon sourit et répondit : "Parce que tu es grand, je peux voir le monde d'une plus grande hauteur. Ta perspective unique m'aide à trouver mon chemin".
Le grand coquelicot réalisa alors que sa hauteur n'était pas seulement une source d'envie, mais aussi un don. Elle pouvait guider, inspirer et offrir une nouvelle vision du monde. En voyant l'affection du papillon pour le grand coquelicot, les autres coquelicots commencèrent à comprendre sa valeur. Ils admirèrent sa force et sa beauté, reconnaissant que ses différences rendaient leur champ plus enchanteur.
À partir de ce jour, le grand coquelicot se tint debout avec fierté, sachant que le fait d'embrasser son caractère unique apporte de la lumière non seulement à soi-même, mais aussi à l'ensemble du champ. In a vast field of poppies, where the crimson blooms swayed gently in the breeze, there stood one poppy that grew taller than the rest. This poppy, with its vibrant petals and graceful stem, reached towards the sky, basking in the sun's warmth more than any of its companions. The other poppies, though beautiful in their own right, couldn't help but feel a tinge of envy and whispered among themselves about the tall poppy.
"Why does it get to be so tall and elegant?" they murmured. "What makes it so special?"
Hearing their whispers, the tall poppy often felt isolated despite its beauty. It loved the field it grew in and cherished the companionship of the other flowers, but the distance created by its height made it feel lonely at times. Still, it continued to grow, reaching ever higher because it knew that to hide its unique gift would be to deny its true self.
One day, a gentle breeze carried a butterfly to the field. The butterfly fluttered above the poppies, delighting in their vibrant colours. It noticed the tall poppy standing proudly above the rest and decided to rest on its petals. The tall poppy, surprised but pleased, welcomed the delicate visitor.
"Why do you rest upon me?" the tall poppy asked.
The butterfly smiled and replied, "Because you stand tall, I can see the world from a greater height. Your unique perspective helps me find my way."
The tall poppy realised then that its height was not just a source of envy but also a gift. It could guide, inspire, and provide a new view of the world. Seeing the butterfly's affection for the tall poppy, the other poppies began to understand its worth. They admired its strength and beauty, recognizing that its differences made their field more enchanting.
From that day on, the tall poppy stood with pride, knowing that embracing one's uniqueness brings light not only to oneself but to the entire field. The other poppies, too, celebrated their tall companion, understanding that every bloom has its place in the garden of life. Together, they created a symphony of colours and grace, each playing its part in the whimsical dance of nature.
