Danygil (real name Danièle El M'Rabet) was born in 1962 in Oran. Coming from a family of artists (singers, dancers, musicians, painters...), she had to leave Algeria and settle in France. Her father, Pierre Gil, a painter and art enthusiast, transmitted his talent and artistic will to her. Danygil paints in her younger years, then rediscovers her passion in 2010. 

In 2011, she focuses her painting and her style towards a destination that crosses the sea, the country where she lived her twelve best years: Morocco, her country of heart.
