Let me introduce a glass studio situated in the city Ždar nad Sazavou, the heart of the Bohemian-Moravian Hightlans.Jiri Beranek, the studio owner, could do more than just rely on his personal artistic skill and experience, basing his business, also onthe long-standing family tradition of glassmaking. In succession, grandfather Bohuslav the founder(born 1901-1986), his son Jaroslav (born 1927) and grandson Jiri( born 1954), have been trading their experience, sense of the glass material and skill of working it right at the furnace from a generation onto a generation, The 80 years experience in making the hot-shaped art glass, however, could not be materialized by grandson Jiři until after the year of 1989. In January 1994,he opens his studio where, together with his father Jaroslav, launches production of a hot-shaped glass assortment that best suits his design ideas and teste. The studio produces exclusively hand-made glass in low-number ranges granting, thus, in fact, each individual pieces a touch of the original. The Beraneks production programme success has been evidenced mainly by exports realized to many countries of the world, for instance, to Japan, Canada, U.S.A., Singapore, as well as to many of the European countries. Besides the tradition and professionalism, the company has always laid emphasis on a fully-satisfied lovers of glass. They famous for glass collectors.
