Александровская колонна в Санкт-Петербурге. Набросок черными чернилами, пером и кистью на белом фоне (с карандашной надписью "Санкт-Петербург 92", внизу на оригинальной работе). Эта оригинальная работа выполнена в формате открытки. Зимой 1993 года мне выпал шанс и невероятное удивление открыть для себя этот знаменитый памятник и, прежде всего, этот замечательный город, его дух, его мужественных жителей и гостеприимных друзей из всех слоев общества, их повседневную жизнь, этот особый климат и дневной свет... Незабываемое путешествие. Я нарисовал этот памятник за год до этого, между двумя эскизами и плакатами о Санкт-Петербурге .../... Colonne Alexandre à Saint-Pétersbourg. Esquisse à l'encre noire, au stylo et au pinceau sur fond blanc (avec inscription au crayon "St. Petersburg 92", en bas sur l'oeuvre originale). Cette oeuvre originale est au format carte postale. Au cours de l'hiver 1993, j'ai eu la chance et la surprise incroyable de découvrir ce célèbre monument et surtout cette merveilleuse ville, son esprit, ses habitants courageux et ces amis hospitaliers de toutes conditions sociales, leur vie quotidienne, ce climat et cette lumière du jour particuliers...Un voyage inoubliable. J'ai dessiné ce monument l'année précédente, entre deux croquis et affiches sur Saint-Pétersbourg...
