Claude Corbier, artist photographer, began exhibiting his work in 1978 in France, northern Spain, Germany and Morocco. Specializing in photo painting and collage, he has developed a unique style that combines different techniques and artistic approaches.
His artistic training was nourished by meetings with artists from the Movida in Barcelona, as well as other artists in Montpellier and Nîmes. This diversity of influences is reflected in his work, where creativity and experimentation are at the heart of his artistic approach.
For many years, Claude juggled various activities, including as a laboratory photographer, press reporter and corporate photographer. He has also worked in the field of writing, both for the press and for institutions. Despite these professional commitments, he never gave up his artistic practice. Today, freed from economic constraints, he devotes himself fully to his creation, combining rigor and research in his works.
Claude Corbier draws his inspiration from the richness of the world around him, capturing moments of life and emotion through his lens. His photo painting technique allows him to transcend reality and create original and expressive compositions. His collages bring an extra dimension to his work, giving rise to surprising and evocative images.
Based in Montpellier, France, Claude finds inspiration in the varied landscapes of his region and the travels he undertakes. He explores contrasts, shapes and textures, creating works that captivate the viewer and provoke thought.
