Claire Vogel, born in 1982 in the magnificent Alsatian city of Strasbourg, is an artist whose creative journey reveals a deep passion for art from a very young age.
Self-taught, Claire first launched into children's illustration, filling her pages with funny and mischievous characters, thus creating a colorful and captivating universe where she can give free rein to her imagination. One day, the desire to return to his first love became irresistible: animal painting. Fascinated by the beauty and complexity of the animal world, Claire turns to realism, seeking to capture every detail with precision, particularly the animals' mesmerizing looks.
She also explores anthropomorphism, exploring the deep connections between man and animal, and draws inspiration from her own pets, capturing snapshots of memory through her creations.
Claire finds great inspiration in the works of Christophe Drochon, which pushes her to undertake very detailed painting work, exploring different techniques and styles over time. Her first acrylic canvases were vibrant and colorful, but recently she felt the need to change direction, turning to black and white with pencils, soft pastels and lead pencils to express her art with even more depth. finesse and depth.
Claire Vogel, living and working in France, continues to evolve as an artist.
