"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Christine Fraga Frénot is a self-taught and naive painter who endeavors to express her vision of a friendly world with unrestrained freedom. Eschewing conventional notions of verisimilitude and aesthetics, Christine offers an alternative reality—one that is unconstrained, unconventional, and rich with fragile and sincere emotions. Through her art, she invites viewers to explore a world that is friendly, unique, and brimming with opportunities for daydreaming, poetry, and carefreeness.
Born in GALICIA in 1956, a Spanish Celtic land steeped in myth and legend, Christine was surrounded by lush nature, rivers, forests, and mountains, all embraced by the vastness of the ocean. At the age of six, she left this picturesque coastline to join her family in Paris. It was at the age of twelve that Christine began sketching and copying caricatures, comics, and Japanese prints, igniting her passion for art.
Initially pursuing a career in banking and management, Christine's artistic journey took a decisive turn when she moved to the Province at the age of thirty-four, where she discovered the works of the Pre-Raphaelites and, notably, Rousseau, whose art served as a catalyst for her own creative exploration. Embracing oil painting, Christine found her artistic voice in the naive style, depicting characters and scenes of life with a distinctive charm and simplicity.
In 1996, Christine began exhibiting her work under the name CF.BARBEITO, a practice she continued until 2005. Upon relocating to Lyon in 2011, Christine resumed her artistic pursuits, exhibitions, and now signs her work with only her initials, CF. Through her paintings, Christine Fraga Frénot invites viewers to join her on a journey of whimsy and wonder, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, and every brushstroke tells a story of joy, innocence, and the enduring power of art.
