In December 2024, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris hosted a significant art exhibition featuring Azerbaijani artists. This event was part of the "Green World Solidarity Year 2024".
The exhibition showcased works by several prominent Azerbaijani artists, including:
Sakit Mammadov – People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, known for his synthesis of Eastern and Western artistic traditions.
Khanlar Asadullayev – Renowned for his contributions to contemporary Azerbaijani art.
Agshin Kazimov – Noted for his innovative artistic expressions.
Mahir Gafarov – Recognized for his unique artistic style.
Nihad Aghazade – A prominent figure in the Azerbaijani art scene.
Chinare Bakhshiyeva-Gafarova – Known for her distinctive sculptural works.
Aynur Mammadova – A rising talent in the Azerbaijani art community.
Nazila Farzullayeva and Maryam Abdulla – Promising young artists contributing fresh perspectives.
The exhibition was inaugurated by distinguished guests, including Simona-Mirela Miculescu, President of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, and Ernesto Ottone Ramirez, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Culture.
