Analysis of My Painting
If someone ask me what is my painting is like, it is already wrong question. If someone ask me where my painting belong in categories, that is also silly question. My painting is not realistic, figurative or impressionist painting. Then my painting is an abstract painting or expressionism? No, my painting is not abstract either, then what is it? My painting does not belong any of those categories- I believe my painting was evolved over the years and I was in and out of abstract or contemporary concept- Just to empower my own character and arrived certain Levels- and I believe I have certain characters that it is Very different-that is my painting-one of kind -Chin H Shin Painting
Manet Special Exhibition
We decided to go family trip to Metropolitan museum by train, it turned out a lot more fun than I thought.
A bit of walking and bus traveling is one thing but the exhibition itself was a huge success-a lot of famous
Degas and Manet painting was right there! I discovered Manet and Degas was close friends and they collaborate
each other on several project. Some of the paintings was shown side by side with similar or same subject matter.
In some occasions they shared similar color stories-I am sure they must had been discussed about their new
discovery of color impact! That is why these two belongs to pioneers of Impressionism movement.
What I was impressed was they were going on to pursue their own discovery of very distinguished art respectably-
We all know what Degas is famous for and Manet's distinguished and almost shocking method of color display
of portraits-but these portraits are very distinguished art itself-nothing like regular portraits-...
What I learned from this exhibition is their dedication of color study and sincerity of their attitude toward art world.

My Window
window has established. Actually My window has established several years ago, in which I have been explored the possibilities of all kind. When I say "Window" -That could be explained as technical at first, but I have been using that window very effectively so far when it is needed-that means I can adjust that window by the situation.
My Painting usually go through three layers of inspiration. The first one is a glimpse inspiration from my childhood or teenage years, the second one is from direct impact or intuition from nature, music or my surroundings. The last one is following the "New Life" of my painting itself. Even Pablo Picasso mentioned his intention into his painting is not always satisfied.
I usually start painting very quickly before my inspiration disappear- that is from my second stage of inspirations, then I follow the new life of my painting itself while I am in the middle of the painting-that could be the third stage inspiration from above, finally I will take enough time Until I make a final decision based on my ultimate desire-so that could be explained as my first inspiration source. I would say the process of painting is complicated…if you are ambitious, then one should try to simplify all your thought as much as you can in order to bring up enormous energy inside a blank canvas.
