Cheryl Tall is a contemporary American artist. The artist's primary focus is exploring the connections between individuals and their surroundings, often incorporating architectural and figurative elements into her work. One distinguishing aspect of her art is the implementation of the pinch coil technique, which lends her creations a distinctive texture resembling wooden shingles or scales. Tall has drawn inspiration from the exploration of arts across various countries, including Canada, Japan, China, Greece, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Korea, Mexico, and the United States.
Cheryl Tall completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Art at the University of Central Florida, and later pursued her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at the University of Miami, Florida. During her studies, she focused on ceramics, fine art, and medieval history. Her artistic endeavors have been recognized and featured in twenty-two books, as well as displayed in various museum collections, corporate collections, and private collections.
