This artwork is about pure abstraction and power of creative Red. Red Zen.
The shape reminds both flower and fountain, creative fountain. And also a ram - Aries.
With this work I wanted to express the beauty of red and it's blossom in terms of abstraction - blossom of the color.
I like pure colors and simple minimalistic shapes - they have some subconscious reaction and direct impact on our minds and bodies (being a part of mind, especially subconscious mind).
The sculpture with both shape and pure bright color feels like vibrating and creating the mood of the space, shaping it and fulfilling with it's vibrance and energy.
The sculpture was partly inspired by abstract expressionism artists - with their powerful unions of shape and color. With Rothko reds, and with Barnett Newman zip lines.
I added a zip line to this particular work - it directly provides some visual support, structure, backbone to the composition. With the same meaning - energy, especially bright energy needs support and structure.
There is also another Easter egg in this work - diagonal glossy transparent line of different material in the corner. This is my humble homage to Piet Mondrian - one of my favorite artists. The line is inspired by his diamond compositions and by being diagonal means the harmony and balance of vertical and horizontal lines in philosophical and abstract terms like balance of yin and yang.

The sculpture is made of special synthetic clay with wire armature, placed on a plywood support and covered with special artist paste and painted with high quality natural pigment acrylics.
