Carolina Alotus is Swedish abstract painter based in Cyprus. Her paintings are brilliant, magical battlefields where beauty and harmony strive for dominance over chaos. Her works are lively and dynamic, creating visual tension through surprising color, form, and texture interactions, as well as the frenetic juxtaposition of seemingly incongruous mediums and techniques.
Carolina Alotus was born in 1970, in Sweden. She has exhibited throughout Europe and in the United States, including at Gallery Kim Anstensen, Sweden; the Royal College of Art, Kensington, UK; Schomburg Gallery, Los Angeles, USA; Karen Lynne Gallery Miami, USA, and at Galerie Foxx, Switzerland. Her works are in numerous private collections all over the world.
