Née sous un ciel bruineux de Normandie, bercée par les histoires d’un grand-père maternel et celles de Maupassant, C.G. Carole peint, crayonne, écrit, modèle, photographie depuis l’enfance.
D’abord autodidacte, elle devient licenciée en Arts Plastiques à l’université Panthéon Sorbonne en 2020. Son parcours de vie l’amène en recherche à l’université Paul Valéry de Montpellier où elle obtient un Master en Pratiques Plastiques Contemporaines en 2023.
L’artiste explore «l’in-évidence» de la vie. Sa sensibilité s’oriente vers une conversation intime entre l’humain et l’animalité transcendée par la lumière. Cet Art singulier et innovant dévoile une émotion à fleur de peau inspirée du Moyen Age, des Nouveaux Réalistes, mais aussi des cultures originelles internationales. Rakus, gravures, dessins aux graphites, récupérations d’objets, notamment d’horloges, font de ses compositions ou installations des hybridations figuratives et sensitives proche du fantômisme*.
