Mixed techniques on cardboard.

Work inspired by one of the most enigmatic and magical women that we can read.

She is Maria Orsic, she was a Mediun of Austrian origin who came to know the Vril energy - she said that she was in contact with beings from the Aldebaran planetary system through which She created plans for extraterrestrial flying machines and according to socio-cultural mythology, her ships did manage to fly.

Marija Oršić was born on October 31, 1895 in Zagreb. His father was Croatian and his mother was German from Vienna. Maria's father, Tomislav Oršić, was born in a house near the Saint Petersburg Cathedral. Stjepan in Zagreb. Tomislav was an architect in the 1890s in an office located on Ban Jelačić Square. During his trip to Vienna, Tomislav met the beautiful young dancer Sabine. They fell in love, got married and had María.

As a child, Marija moved with her family to Vienna, where she continued to live, and in 1919, as an adult, she moved to Munich.

In Munich, Marija was in contact from the beginning with the Thule Society (Thule-Gesellschaft), a German association dealing with the study of the Germanic past and occultism, and soon created her own inner circle called "Alldeutsche Gesellschaft für Metaphysik". ", also known under the name of Vril Company.

The Vril society was made up of young girls with supposedly exceptional telepathic abilities, among whom the most notable were Marija and the mysterious Sigrun. The girls wore their long hair intertwined in braids, and believed that their long hair served as a recipient of medium transmissions of messages from other worlds.
